I am beyond excited to let you know about our fabulous new retreat where you will be able to learn how to re-create your favourite item/s without having to take them all apart, and spend a day really getting to know all that your overlocker can do, giving you the confidence to creat professionally finished garments everytime. 

We all have clothes in our wardrobe that we wear out  because we love them so very much..this retreat will give you the chance to learn how to easily create patterns from your beloved garments and recreate them with a fresh new look. Perfect for keeping your favourite pieces alive and for creating unique, personalised clothing.

Do you have an overlocker at home that you barely use, are scared of, dread to thread or only use to finish seams? This retreat is for you. Our tutor, Kristina, will expertly guide you until you make friends with your overlocker and understand the many many techniques that you can use to create beautifully finished clothing. Become an expert in using your overlocker.

Kristina will also show you how to work with different fabrics like woven and stretch.

How to make a pattern of an existing garment.

You will be able to access a packing list for this retreat once you have booked your place.

An amazing few days meeting like minded old friends and new. So lovely to have the time and headspace to just sew. There's always help available from Yvonne & Kate if you're stuck and of course fellow participants. We were treated to delicious food and cake as well as comfortable accommodation. Plenty of time to chat, use the hottub, read, walk or more sewing/crafts, just whatever takes your fancy. Highly recommend these retreats but please don't book as it's difficult enough to get a place as it is 🤭😁

What a fantastic time we had. The welcome and care taken by Yvonne and Kate is exceptional. This was our 3rd retreat and it felt like going home to meet old friends. The accommodation is great and food is very yummy. Sewing, eating and Hot Tubbing! Can’t wait for next year!
